Well...not really movies like they have here. It's mostly newsreel and propaganda stuff.

At least here they have like...hell soap operas and...Hanna has shown me a couple of Earth movies!

I didn't quite get all of it, but it helps?

I'm not sure. Are romance movies just filled with couples making out all the time? And no plot?

I haven't read any romance books, but...I'm pretty sure those were the plays in the Honey Bee Inn.

No. That's what's known as pornography. Smut.

Romance as a genre usually portrays the story of how the two in the relationship came to fall in love and be together, the trials and tribulations, the choices they made that shaped their fates and put them together. Sometimes they can be tragic; one of the most famous is a tragic love story. But by and large, they provide a 'happy ending' for everyone involved other than, in some cases, those who stood in the way of the couple's happiness or the relationship itself.
