Hanna has actually extended some protections to me via his own abilities, and I've been using what I have for myself, of course.

I'll admit that weapons would be rather useless for me. Don't they say that they're more dangerous to you than an opponent if you're untrained? And I am.

Not particularly.

[ Violence is not something he ever wants to do himself. It says something that he killed Hanna. Then again, he tried to be gentle about it. ]

I have other interests, though not that you'll probably be able to support in the short term.

That said, you would do well to avoid the first gun deck during everything. Feel free to share that with anyone you trust.

Not in the slightest, which makes this much like the halcyon days of my youth, as they say.

I feel as if you're trying to keep me safe, if that's of concern to you.

It's not. But it's true, for whatever that's worth.

[He genuinely doesn't care how he comes across to Vincent, but he is trying his hardest to keep him safe, even if they never get back to the Admiral.]
